Where can I find the best-before date (BBD) on Yabon products?
The DDM of our products can be found on the back of our products and underneath the gourmet jars.
The DDM is also written on each individual jar and gourd.
Can I consume a product after the date shown on the packaging?
If the indicated date is exceeded, our products can still be consumed without danger to the consumer's health. However, we cannot guarantee optimal preservation of taste, texture and appearance. Find out more about our anti-gaspi commitment alongside Too Good To Go.
What manufacturing process produces products with a long shelf life?
The preservation principle used is sterilization. This technique consists in eliminating a large proportion of micro-organisms from products by heating them to high temperatures (around 120°C).
Sterilized products can therefore be stored for several months in their packaging in your grocery cupboard without risk of contamination or deterioration.

PRODUCTS
Where do the ingredients used in Yabon products come from?
Our milk is 100% French, as is our rice from the Camargue. The other ingredients used in our recipes come from several geographical areas, depending on their most favorable natural development. Indeed, our ingredients are rigorously selected so as to have the geographical origin most relevant to the ingredient sought (for example: vanilla from Madagascar, chocolate from St Domingue, etc.).
Do Yabon products contain allergens?
Allergens in our Yabon products are strictly indicated on our packaging. These allergens are strictly controlled and limited to the following: milk, gluten (from wheat), egg, soya and hazelnut. These ingredients are essential to the creation of our much-loved gourmet recipes.
Are there any additives (preservatives, coloring, flavoring, etc.) in Yabon products?
All Yabon products are preservative-free. In fact, the principle of sterilization applied means long shelf-life without the slightest addition of preservatives.
Most of our products are also free from artificial colorants and flavors, and we intend to pursue this approach for all our products.
How best to unmould cakes in gourmet jars?
We recommend unmolding the gourmet jars with the blade of a knife, twisting it around the cake, then inverting the cake onto a plate.
Now it's up to you to admire the gourmet topping on the cake and enjoy this delicious dessert!
Is your packaging recyclable?
Aluminum lids, fluted metal jars and cardboard boxes can be recycled, and we invite you to dispose of them in the selective sorting bins.
Cardboard boxes are made from recycled materials.
The packaging for our products may be subject to sorting instructions.

CONSUMPTION
Where can I find Yabon products?
You can find Yabon products in all supermarkets, hypermarkets and convenience stores in the ready-to-eat desserts section of the sweet grocery aisle (right next to compotes, flour, sugar or baking aids 😊 ).
I'm careful about what I eat. Are your products recommended as part of a balanced meal?
With a minimum of 70% whole milk, Yabon products are one of the 3 portions of dairy products to be consumed daily. They can therefore form part of a balanced diet and be your dessert or snack several times a week.
Why are cereal cakes recommended for athletes?
Because they contain cereals and less than 4% fat per 100g, semolina and rice cakes are an ideal source of slow sugars for athletes!
